Producer's Boot Camp

NAMIC, in partnership with National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) is soliciting applications from emerging producers, writers and creators to attend, tuition-free, the NATPE TV Producers' Boot Camp as a Fox Diversity Fellow.

The Boot Camp will take place July 27 - 28, 2006 in West Hollywood, California. As the fellowship recipient, you will attend a highly interactive, one and a half day event designed to help you fine-tune your strategy and sharpen your creative skill. You will also have an opportunity to compete for a $3,000 cash prize in the NATPE NextGen TV Festival & Competition 2006, which runs concurrently with Boot Camp.

MTVU College Rep

Looking for an internship?
Are you a marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, journalism, communications major? Or are you just interested in the music industry and entertainment business? Know your campus and its organizations better than anyone else? Want to be the eyes and ears for one of the world’s most recognizable brands?
mtvU is currently seeking mtvU Campus Reps on your campus!
Gain hands-on experience working for a network that is solely catered to you by providing the opportunity to showcase your talents and creative input. Experiment with innovative marketing ideas to bring the mtvU image to your campus.

Requirements

· Students who are currently enrolled in a college with two or more years before graduation.
· Students are required to receive school approved internship credit for the mtvU Campus Rep Program.
· Anticipate spending up to 10 hours per week working on mtvU related activities. Time commitments may very according to school internship requirements.
· Reps will submit reports (photos, surveys etc.) of on campus events and/or promotions, conduct marketing research, and present organized and detailed reports.
· Reps need to be comfortable surveying other students, and act as a liason between mtvU and campus newspaper, campus radio station, and other student organizations.
· Student must have an excellent understanding of how to navigate the internet as well as general office programs.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must have access to voicemail, email, internet. A digital camera and/or scanner is useful but not required.
· Access to transportation - car is helpful but not required.
